The pro Fit mailing list is a forum for questions, comments, and suggestions for pro Fit. The list is also used for announcements of upgrades, patches, new support files, etc. Everyone interested in pro Fit can subscribe to it.
How does it work?
Once you are a subscriber of the list, you automatically get copies of all mail that is sent to the list. If you have something to contribute, just send a mail to the list and all other participants will get it. In this way, you can easily reach a large audience for your questions, including pro Fit beginners, experienced users, and even pro Fit’s developers.
How can I get on the list?
There are at least two ways to get onto the mailing list:
- The easiest way to get onto the mailing list is to use this interface; enter your email addresss and press the “Subscribe” button.
- Another way to get onto the list, send an email to profit-list-request@quantum-soft.com with the following command in either the subject or the body of your email:
subscribe
Once you have been added to the list, the list server will send you a confirmation that also contains instructions on how to use the list. You should therefore keep it for later reference.
Note: The mailing list is not located at quansoft.com, but at quantum-soft.com. So be careful when entering the address: use profit-list-request@quantum-soft.com, not profit-list-request@quansoft.com.
How do I submit messages to the list?
To send a message to all subscribers of the list, send it to

Keep your message short, clear and precise. Only post messages that might be of interest to or answered by other users. Typical messages are, for example:
- Questions on how to use pro Fit to solve a certain type of problem (“Has anyone ever tried to …?”).
- Ideas and solutions that might be of interest to others (“Look, I have written this external module Anthem 1.0 that converts your data into a symphony. You can download it from …”.)
- Proposals for new features.
Note: The mailing list is not located at quansoft.com (as these pages), but at quantum-soft.com. So make sure to enter the correct address.
How do I get off the list?
There are at least two ways to get off the mailing list:
- The easiest way to get off the mailing list is to use this interface, i.e. the same that you used for subscribing.
- Another way to get off the list, send an email to profit-list-request@quantum-soft.com with the following command in either the subject or the body of your email:
unsubscribe
Note 1: This e-mail must be sent from the e-mail address that receives the list messages.
Note 2: If you are, for some reason, unable to unsubscribe, send an e-mail to profit@quansoft.com, and we will remove you.
